Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in the United Kingdom is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our finance team. You will drive process improvements, automate workflows using AI where appropriate, and support month-end activities including journals and financial analysis.

This role requires experience in a high-transaction scale-up environment, strong Excel and reporting skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Finance team.
• Experience using accounting software and data tools (Netsuite preferred).
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in a scale-up, high-transaction environment with evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage creditor and debtor ledgers and deal with any queries regarding payments or receipts.
