Job description

The Council is undertaking a wide-ranging transformation programme following re-organisation from April 2023.

To support this work over the next 18 months, we are seeking qualified accountants with experience in a local government setting, specifically supporting financial management of services. Successful candidates will work within established teams, providing financial management support to service managers, including:

• In-year budget management
• Budget setting
• Year-end management accounts

This position offers hybrid working arrangements, including County Hall, from home, and other council offices as required.
