Accountant

Our client is a dynamic firm of Accountants and due to their continued growth, they now seek a Part Qualified ACCA Accountant to join their team. Applications are also welcome from AAT studiers and QBE Accountants.

Reporting directly to the Partners, you will work with lots of autonomy and will enjoy a varied role, covering all aspects of accounting and tax.

This is a young business, with an experienced senior management team who have ambitious growth plans. With strong business values centred on trust and flexibility, they care about their clients and staff and this is reflected in all they do.

The client base is varied and includes music and entertainment, high net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, families, private clients and more. Whilst they have a great deal of in-house expertise, they also work with wider specialists to deliver their clients logical, deeply considered, viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities of the Client Accountant

• Liaising directly with clients and the management team to ensure a high quality service.
• Providing general accounting and tax advice to clients.
• Involved in all aspects of Bookkeeping, including VAT Returns.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
• Preparing Personal and Corporate Tax Returns.
• Using a variety of modern systems, such as Xero.

Requirements

• An active ACCA or AAT studier with strong technical skills.
• Experience of working within an Accounting Practice
• Attention to detail including strong reconciliation skills.
• Client service focus.
• Good organisation and communication/interpersonal skills.
• Strong use of Microsoft Office e.g. Excel, Outlook and other technology.
