Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Accountancy firm based in Sudbury, seeking an Accountant.

This role is highly varied, with responsibilities including preparing high-quality accounts, conducting audits, and ensuring tax compliance for a diverse range of clients, such as sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders, and partnerships, and complete corporation tax returns.
• Complete personal tax returns for directors, sole traders, and rental accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and management accounts.
• Utilize Excel and accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
