Job summary

Axon Moore are partnering with a growing business in South Manchester to appoint an experienced Accountant. Senior role reporting into the Finance Director to support processes and drive improvements.

The role covers contractor admin, VAT, MI reporting, expenses, credit control, commissions calculations and multi-currency transactions, with a strong focus on process improvements including AI-driven tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in finance within the recruitment industry.
• Proficient with Xero accounting software.
• Strong numerical skills with advanced Excel ability.

Responsibilities

• Expenses.

• Process improvement utilising tools such as AI
• Other ad-hoc finance work as required.

Experience & Skill Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in finance within the recruitment industry
• Experienced with Xero accounting software
• Highly numerate with Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills - able to hit deadlines without fail
• Able to liaise with key stakeholders across the business.
• Strong work ethic and an ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
