We seek a candidate with experience in general practice to work in Saffron Walden with our established client.

Our Client

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced accountant/bookkeeper to work with our well-established general practice client.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing client accounts and handling bookkeeping matters for manager or partner review.

Main Duties

• Preparation of statutory accounts from Trial Balance to Partner review
• Preparation of periodical bookkeeping records using Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
• Assisting clients with bookkeeping and VAT-related queries
• Assisting with payroll when required

The Successful Candidate

• Experience working in a general accountancy practice
• Experience working with Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
• Payroll experience is desirable but not essential
• This role is office-based in Saffron Walden; candidates should be able to commit to 5 days in the office.
