Role: Accountant

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Location: Basford, Nottingham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30

Our client, a successful Business Consultancy in Nottingham, is seeking to appoint an Accountant with experience within Stat and Tax.

Duties

• analyse client financial records
• identify potential tax deductions and savings
• advise cliemts on tax laws
• complete and submit tax returns
• liaise with HMRC
• develop tax planning strategies
• assist clients with cash flow
• complate and review tax returns
• provide advise and coaching with and to colleagues
• support and review trainee Accountants work

Experience

• ACCA/ ACA qualifies/ part qualified or QBE
• 3 years experience within a UK practice
• experience of preparing year end accounts
• in-depth understanding of uk tax laws
• excellent written and verbalk communication skills
• problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• hands-on, a real player-manager
• experience of cradle to grave accounting
