A well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee its financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, compliance, and reporting, with the ability to integrate financial strategy into business decision-making. This role also includes HR-related responsibilities, making it a well-rounded opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within the property or real estate industry.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of South African financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage budgeting processes, including the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with South African financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.

  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Handle HR-related responsibilities, including payroll management, incentive tracking, leave management, employment contracts, and salary reviews.
