Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Contract Accountant in Kidlington to cover a busy year-end and reporting period. The role focuses on financial reporting, reconciliations, cost analysis and meeting key accounting deadlines.

The candidate will review cut-off processes, perform balance sheet reconciliations and support statutory accounts. This is a hands-on contract with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred, though strong QBE candidates will be considered.
• Strong financial and management accounting experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to quickly integrate into an existing team and deliver results.

We are supporting an innovative automotive engineering and technology business in its search for a Contract Accountant to provide additional support during a busy year-end and reporting period.

This is a hands-on role focused on financial reporting, reconciliations, cost analysis, and supporting key accounting deadlines.
