An established industry player is seeking a motivated and ambitious accountant to join their team near Bath. This full-time, permanent role requires a part or fully qualified accountant with at least two years of experience in a UK practice. You will manage your own client portfolio, prepare statutory and management accounts, and provide valuable advice on financial matters. Accountant

Qualified/ Part Qualified Accountant

Location: Bath

Position: Full time, Permanent

Salary: up to £40k

Autograph Recruitment are currently looking for a highly motivated and ambitious part/fully qualified accountant to join an accountancy practice with an office near to Bath. You will ideally have at least 2 years experience of working within a UK practice and be ACCA or ACA (part or fully qualified)

You will need to have experience of working with a variety of software including QuickBooks and Xero. They are looking for a confident, client facing accountant who has the ability to adapt and effectively manage their own workload.

The role includes the following duties -

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Speaking and meeting with clients
• Advising clients on a wide range of financial and commercial matters
• Statutory and management accounts preparation
• Supporting the junior members of the team
• You will need to have a positive "can do" attitude, be hard working and have a creative approach to solve problems
