Carmarthenshire Permanent Role - Accountant Job

Brand new permanent role for a Qualified or QBE Accountant in the Carmarthen/Llandeilo area.

It's a challenging accountant role for the property side of a burgeoning local business - an exciting broad-based business covering multiple industry sectors including: Property Development, Construction, CIS, Rental Business (Commercial and Residential), and Pension Accounts.

A busy role managing an experienced bookkeeper in-house, preparing management accounts, dealing with numerous intercompany transactions, and handling taxation matters (personal and business). Reporting to the Managing Director daily, but also working under the direction of a part-time Senior Accountant, as an understudy to him as he is taking steps towards retirement.

They use Sage 50. It is an office-based role, and the salary is competitive and negotiable for the right candidate. We are open to a good Accountant from either a practice or industry background - any prior experience of property development or property rental would be helpful but is certainly not essential.
