PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: up to £52,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This role leads financial reporting for the Studios Production Group, ensuring accurate actuals, budgets, and forecasts. You’ll manage key schedules, drive process improvements, and support compliance initiatives. Working closely with finance teams and stakeholders, you’ll enhance reporting quality, streamline workflows, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact

  • Accounting & Reporting: Monthly reporting on Actuals undertaking variance analysis and providing meaningful commentary to various stakeholders. Significant involvement in both the Quarterly Forecasting and Annual Budgeting processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a CI culture across the wider Productions Finance Team and identify initiatives to simplify and enhance processes and services. Helping to support the roll out of new offline forecasting tools.
  • Controls and Compliance: Working closely with the team and helping to improve efficiency and controls of financial processes, methodologies and environments. Support with the roll out of new processes for ICFR.

Essential Criteria

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Professional accounting qualification: e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with the Embedded Finance Team and wider Stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency: Competence in financial software such as SAP and AFO.
  • Microsoft Excel – Strong knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel with the ability to efficiently manage data, perform advanced functions (e.g., SUMIFs, pivot tables, formulas), and support financial analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Good experience of delivering a high-quality accounting and reporting service.

Time Management: Ability meet deadlines and support the team during busy periods.

  • Commercial - Has experience of working for a commercial company.
