Qualifications

You will play a key role in safeguarding our financial integrity, supporting strategic growth, and championing our values across the business. Job Description:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, banking, and cash flow management.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including intercompany transactions, accruals, and asset management.
  • Ensure accurate results by business line
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Ensure that the accounting provides relevant and reliable information both at Group and Local level.
  • Support Finning Tax team with VAT and corporate tax submissions
  • Prepare audit files and coordinate local audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management accounting and financial reporting.
  • Support Group Manager Finance strategic information/forecasting/AOP
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (preferably INFOR M3) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
