This is an initial temporary position and will report directly to the Director of Corporate Services. The Accountant will supervise a small finance team, while ensuring monthly and quarterly financial reporting is delivered on schedule. Although a temporary contract to begin with, this role has the potential to become a permanent post for the successful candidate.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Financial and Management Accounting experience

What you'll do

• Assisting in the delivery of the financial performance for the organisation
• Ensuring effective delivery of projects to agreed timescales
• Working with budget holders in managing budget expenditure
• Providing specialist financial advice in line with the business cases within the department
• Ad-hoc project work
• Supervision of small finance team
