Accountancy Apprentice - Brighouse - Immediate Start

Nexus People are seeking an Accountancy Apprentice to undertake various administrative tasks within our Finance Team at our Head Office in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, with the potential to study AAT and progress onto professional qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA.

What does being an Accountancy Apprentice involve?

• Credit card payments and postings
• Purchase ledger invoices and remittances
• Checking expense claims
• Assisting with payroll queries
• Bank reconciliations
• Ad hoc administrative tasks

What we need from you to be an Accountancy Apprentice:

• Confidence in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); training on internal systems will be provided
• Polite and confident telephone manner with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good standards in English Language and Mathematics
• Outgoing personality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines and communicating progress
