Job Description
Be the direct contact for key stakeholders to communicate the value proposition; serve as the main executor of the infield brand strategy. Develop customer relationships while maximizing opportunities based on strong account plans.
Customer Selling and Relationship Management
- Drive sales by owning customer engagement for target HCPs across channels, reflecting customer preferences, leveraging available content and multiple engagement channels.
- Develop SMART pre-call objectives aligned with territory plans and brand strategy.
- Handle objections or concerns effectively. Consistently aim for a logical, reasonable call to action or close on every sales call.
- Educate medical providers, decision-makers, and healthcare professionals.
- Identify and develop disease state experts to build advocacy aligned with the territory plan.
Market Intelligence
- Organize and manage stakeholder meetings.
- Differenciate AbbVie's value proposition from competitors to physicians and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively, adapting style based on customer insights.
Clinical and Market Knowledge Development
- Gain a deep understanding of the product and its role within the NHS healthcare economy.
- Navigate NHS ecosystem barriers and identify collaborative opportunities.
- Share best practices to enhance business success.
- Develop and implement growth plans for current and future opportunities.
- Demonstrate expertise in disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence.
- Understand the multi-stakeholder environment thoroughly.
Territory Management
- Analyze sales reports and field intelligence to adapt the territory plan.
- Collaborate with medical colleagues to support customer needs and regional/national programs.
- Develop a business plan for the territory aligned with brand strategy.
- Target and track resources effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
- Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven success in pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience in immunology and/or specialty secondary care is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Solutions-focused with a positive attitude.
- Strategic mindset and data analytics proficiency.
