Citi's Global Trade business is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager for our rapidly expanding Receivables Product team. Team / Role Overview

Trade is a part of Treasury and Trade Services (TTS). Receivable Finance is one of the pillars within our trade business and this role supports the UK, Europe and Middle East & Africa clusters. Key stakeholders for this role include Banking, TTS and Trade Sales, Structuring, Risk, Legal and operations as well as vendors and service providers. This team is at the forefront of innovation driving new product launches, commercialization and supporting teams to bringing deals to fruition in the region.

Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Strategic Product Manager, you will lead critical initiatives to expand and optimize our Receivables business.
  • Product Development & Commercialization: Spearhead the creation and market launch of new, customer-centric receivable products and services.
  • Regional Product Leadership: Serve as the product expert for all receivable finance variants across the UK, Europe, and MEA markets.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep market research, analyze competitors, identify product gaps, and stay ahead of industry trends and regulations.
  • Complex Deal Structuring: Provide specialized structuring support and product expertise for intricate trade finance transactions.
  • Investment & Business Cases: Develop clear product requirements and build compelling business cases for strategic investments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, engineering, risk, and marketing to execute product and platform commercialization plans.
  • Performance & Customer Success: Monitor product performance, drive customer success, and optimize existing trade finance offerings.
  • Capital & Risk Optimization: Contribute significantly to capital optimization and risk distribution initiatives.
  • Product Governance: Ensure strong product governance and compliance.
  • Risk & Controls Champion: Uphold robust risk and control frameworks, supporting new policy implementations.
  • Prudent Risk Management: Exercise sound judgment in all business decisions, safeguarding Citi's reputation and assets through strict compliance and ethical conduct.
What we'll need from you
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Receivable Finance and complex transaction structuring is a must have.
  • Strong understanding of credit insurance, inventory finance, securitizations, risk management and isolate risks and key issues is key.
  • Experience in structured finance, counterparty risk management, and legal documentation is a huge plus. This includes critically reviewing key documents.
  • Prior experience in product management and development roles in a bank or FinTech will be useful.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience around virtually managing and leading projects across various stakeholders is helpful.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Team management, management of complex and large set of stakeholders will be a massive positive.
