Job Opportunity: Centralised Account Maintenance Officer

Our banking client in Central London is seeking a well-rounded Centralised Account Maintenance (CAM) Officer on a 6-12 month FTC basis, with the potential to go permanent. The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 - £40,000 along with a great perks package.

Role Responsibilities

As a CAM Officer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Centralising account opening and maintenance control functions for all related activities.
  2. Ensuring all account activities are centrally controlled, reviewed, and sanctioned in line with AML/CFT regulations and bank policies.
  3. Keeping up to date with the latest bank policies, regulations, and procedures, and reflecting updates in internal control and review functions.
  4. Processing cheque books and dispatching them to clients.
  5. Monitoring dispatch and work queues to ensure all deadlines are met.
  6. Managing GSM services, internet banking, secure keys, creation, activation, and reissuing.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience within a client onboarding team and understanding of end-to-end processes.
  • Good knowledge of different entity types, including SPVs, trusts, charities, and awareness of risk factors associated with high-risk entities, individuals, and PEPs.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and capable of working independently or in teams.
