The Role:

Account Manager

  • Selling a leading portfolio of wound care and compression therapy solutions into the NHS, including Procurement/Medicines Management, TVN’s, Leg Ulcer Nurse Specialists, and Specialist Nurses.
  • Develop a business plan for the territory to gain formulary inclusion for specified products to ensure business growth.
  • Proactively seek out and develop relationships with clinical & non-clinical key decision makers, up to and including board level customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within community and hospital accounts.
  • Use an OMNI-channel approach; digital platforms, social media, face-to-face.
  • Work remotely from home, autonomously networking throughout complex, multi-tiered NHS accounts.
  • Region covers: Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Cheshire, and Betsi Cadwaladr.

The Ideal Person: Account Manager

  • Must live within Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Cheshire, and Betsi Cadwaladr area.
  • Experience in wound care/compression not necessary but sales in medical devices is required.
  • Proven success in account management with effective territory management and time keeping skills.
  • Resilient, curious, and able to balance multiple projects and a portfolio of products.
  • Ability to take full accountability for growing and protecting your business.
  • Tenacity, self-drive, and goal orientation.
  • Agility & curiosity.
  • Effective objection handling, influencing, and persuasive skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: active listening, confident presenting, and effective omni-channel communication.
  • Commercial and strategic thinking; ability to present product proposals including cost savings to decision makers.
  • Analytical data skills.
  • Good planning and organizing skills to maximize territory potential.
  • Flexibility to stay away from home occasionally.
