Account Manager - Leading Smart Metering Solutions Provider

Location: Remote, UK based, occasional travel to client sites

Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of key accounts across water smart metering, thermal energy, and Data as a Service (DaaS) sectors. The role involves managing complex stakeholder relationships and overseeing high-value contracts that combine technical solutions, data services, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage multiple high-value contracts in smart metering and DaaS
  2. Build and maintain relationships with utility providers and partners
  3. Lead the implementation of DaaS solutions and data service integration
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams on technical solution delivery
  5. Serve as primary client contact for technical and solution matters
  6. Oversee full project lifecycle and SLA compliance
  7. Drive business growth through contract renewals and service expansion

Required Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 4 years in account/project management, preferably in utilities or data services
  2. Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder technical projects
  3. Strong knowledge of water metering, thermal energy, and IoT technologies
  4. Expertise in DaaS contract management
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  6. Full UK driving licence
  7. Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

Desired Experience:
  1. AMR/AMI metering products and IoT ecosystems (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT)
  2. Data as a Service models and data integration
  3. Established industry network in water/thermal energy sectors
