Account Manager Upstream Chemicals – Aberdeen, UK

Join our Production Solutions Upstream Chemicals Team

Our Upstream Chemicals team oversees our technology solutions for hydrocarbon production, transportation and processing. We are the leader in oil and water separation technology and in solutions to control corrosion, deposition, bacteria's. We provide chemicals and support to enhance plant processes, improve productivity, manage water treatment, and resolve environmental issues.

Responsibilities
  • Managing chemical supply, stock projections and relevant forecasting
  • Coordinating onshore chemical sampling, testing and analysis completed offshore
  • Supporting technical projects and chemical trials
  • Supporting day to day production chemistry for customer asset, interfacing with the relevant customer functions and departments
  • Coordinating laboratory work scopes, providing technical assistance to support customer accounts
Qualifications
  • Have a Degree qualification in Chemistry or similar science
  • Demonstrate relevant experience of working in production or oilfield chemicals
  • Show experience of supporting customer accounts and co-ordination of offshore activities, scheduling and forecasting
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and teams
  • Have the ability to manage multiple project and deadlines, managing and resolving chemical production and scheduling issues
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problem
  • Have good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Be willing to work offshore occasionally
