Position Summary

We are in search of a Senior Leisure Account Manager based in London with a background in the airline industry. The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering partnerships within the leisure travel sector for the airline. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets while ensuring exceptional service delivery to leisure travel partners and customers. Responsibilities include cultivating and sustaining relationships with Leisure travel agent partners and new leisure segments which are a key CSP – eg Student and Cruise, with a focus on driving sales revenue and meeting sales targets. The role demands a profound understanding of the company's products and services, coupled with a keen insight into the requirements and challenges present in the corporate market..

Key Accountability

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive leisure travel revenue growth in alignment with the airline's business objectives.
  • Drive the company CSP’s in relation to the new leisure segments consisting of student and cruise.
  • Responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio comprising of tour operators, consolidators, OTA’s and VFR agents, balancing the needs of existing clients while actively seeking out and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Manage and grow sales within assigned leisure accounts, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our products and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience, from initial inquiry through to post-sale support.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring that terms and conditions are in line with company policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns and promotions to drive leisure travel sales.
  • Analyze sales performance data and provide regular reports and insights to management, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities, offering regular insights and feedback to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Maintained a well-managed sales pipeline, providing timely updates on progress and identifying emerging opportunities for business expansion.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in airline account management within a commercial airline, demonstrating a proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets

Area of Experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
