Account Manager UK & Ireland – Maternity Cover 14-Month Fixed-Term
We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to maintain our Specialist Retail accounts in the UK & Ireland and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsible for the account management of key retail partners, this role will be required to create and maintain good working relationships with internal teams and external customers to ensure we continuously work towards growth in our key accounts.
The successful candidate is required to develop and execute the strategy for the key accounts, in accordance with the channel business strategy. In this role you will work closely with the Channel Manager and Marketing Manager.
This role requires 3 days on-site in our London HQ office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of key accounts including negotiating and securing partnership agreements.
- Be the key day to day contact for customer business relationships.
- Review and evaluate business performance on a regular basis.
- Responsible for forecasting, business call updates and risk and opportunity management.
- Drive promotional plans, coordinate product launches, and communicate pricing strategies across the channel.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and ranging opportunities.
- Be confident in managing both wholesale and consignment accounts. Work closely with our staffing agency in developing retail store strategies. Support retail teams to consistently deliver results through an elevated in-store experience.
- Manage and coordinate product listings, including product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory availability.
- Track and report on the return on investment for various account initiatives.
- Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
- Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organisation.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identifying new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment across the business.
- Where relevant, support the onboarding and management of new business opportunities and securing partnership agreements.
The Right Person Would Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in account management, with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of customer base.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- Experience in the Beauty and Wellness sectors desirable, but not essential.
