The position

You will manage existing clients in the UK & Ireland to reconnect and generate demand, while also engaging in business development to find potential new customers. You will act as AEG PS’s representative to clients (mainly in manufacturing) and provide technical sales support.

Main responsibilities
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets by acquiring new customers and projects for EPCs and OEMs.
  • Analyze market trends, identify and develop new and prospective customers, and execute sales plans, maintaining information in CRM systems.
  • Identify new investment projects to support sales growth and mutual profitability.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers and stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer segments to develop sales strategies, and identify new customers or projects.
  • Capture customer needs and support solution development with end customers, planning offices, and system providers.
  • Represent the company to clients, acting as a link between customers and internal teams; participate in acceptance tests (FAT or SAT).
  • Collaborate with Engineering on quotation preparation.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and customer events, and participate in project reviews.
  • Provide structured information for FAE teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Electrical engineering or technical background with 4-6 years of successful field sales experience.
  • Proven success in generating new clients and opening new markets within power electronics.
  • Knowledge of secure power supply products (rectifiers and inverters), preferably from AEG Power Solutions.
  • Experience in customer acquisition and negotiation.
  • Based in the UK, willing to travel up to 60%.
  • Strong negotiation skills, sociability, teamwork, and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and strategically with high self-motivation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and MS Dynamics is desirable.
