Job Description:

We are seeking an Account Manager with a background in SaaS, ideally from telematics or fleet management/fleet safety software, who has managed the entire customer journey. Responsibilities include developing customer relationships post-sale, onboarding, implementing software, creating strategic account plans, conducting reviews, managing customer lifecycle, ensuring product adoption, renewing contracts, and identifying upselling opportunities. This role is for a world leader in AI-driven driver coaching and safety software for bus and coach fleet operators.

This is a remote role within the UK, with some travel. Salary circa £50-60k + Car Allowance + Bonus (20-30% commission) + Benefits.

Key skills required:
  • Proven experience in large customer account management and customer success within SaaS, with skills in upselling and expanding accounts.
  • Experience in developing strategic account plans for successful customer journeys and long-term relationships.
  • Engagement with stakeholders up to C-level.
  • Experience in telematics, fleet management, or driver safety software.
  • Experience managing accounts for bus/coach fleets or bus operators in the UK is advantageous.
  • Understanding of health and safety management and driver behaviour/safety processes is beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by proactively managing large accounts and resolving issues.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships within accounts, engaging up to C-level.
  • Ensure timely software renewals and seek upselling opportunities.
  • Conduct product trials and evaluations.
  • Assist in qualifying sales opportunities and participate in sales processes.
  • Maintain CRM opportunities and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Support the Finance team with invoicing and payments.
  • Understand customer organizations and key roles.
  • Act as primary escalation point for issues.
