Position Summary

Cansel is the largest Trimble re-seller in Canada. As an Engineering Account Manager (sales), you will need hutzpah and drive to sell this equipment. You will be on the road at least one week per month. We are looking for someone with surveyor or Engineering/Surveying experience; sales training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Follow industry trends and discover leads.
  • Perform sales presentations, on-site demonstrations, and cold calling within your territory.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships through regular contact.
  • Provide excellent customer service to key accounts.
  • Meet all sales targets and performance indicators.
  • Participate in trade-shows, training events, and other related activities.
  • Report activity and new pipelines to the Regional Sales Manager.
About You
  • Experience as a surveyor or in the Survey/Engineering (AEC) industry.
  • Energetic, self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sales.
  • Experience recommending, presenting, and selling products based on customer needs.
  • Initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, communication, and computer skills.
  • Willing to spend 40-60% of time traveling locally and occasionally overnight.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and business savvy.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Construction, Survey, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or equivalent experience.
  • Some outside sales experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs.
