Job Description:
Position Summary

Cansel is currently seeking an Account Manager on our Subsurface Technologies team (pipe locating & camera inspection) in Dartmouth.

You will be responsible for consulting and selling Radiodetection & Pearpoint equipment, pin finders, laser levels & survey/construction consumable supplies (prisms, tripods, safety vests, marking paint, flagging, etc.) to potential and existing customers in the utility, municipal, contractors, land surveyors, engineers, construction & mining segments. A key goal is to help ensure customer growth & success.

Your time will be spent conducting face-to-face client meetings, site demos, and prospecting for new clients within your territory. You will also sell consumables through outbound calls & emails.

In this role, you will...
  • Research and understand customer needs to recommend suitable products/services.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and emails.
  • Perform outside demos to potential and existing customers.
  • Participate in strategic account sales programs.
  • Understand and sell the full portfolio of Cansel offerings (cross-selling).
Business Development:
  • Develop sales from existing customer accounts.
  • Explore new growth opportunities to meet revenue targets.
  • Manage accounts and achieve forecasted revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Remote Sales Manager and Territory Sales Team.
  • Participate in campaign-based projects.
  • Work with Customer Service and Outside Sales Teams.
  • Maintain customer relations and activity records in Salesforce.
About you...

The ideal candidate should have experience with Pipe & Cable Locating or Camera Inspection, strong customer service skills, a desire to meet targets, and the ability to travel within the territory. Additional assets include field experience in underground infrastructure, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office, and previous sales or customer service experience.
