The IDeaS Account Manager will manage the relationships of existing mid-sized and large accounts within the territory. Responsible for account management and contributing to regional sales results, focusing on revenue retention and growth. IDeaS provides software-as-a-service pricing, revenue management, and consulting services. The role involves growing and retaining customers within the territory, reporting to the Area Manager, with support across teams.

What you’ll be doing...

  1. Build and nurture relationships with assigned accounts through on-site meetings, regular communications, and industry events.
  2. Communicate confidently about IDeaS products and services, actively listening to client needs.
  3. Identify business opportunities to develop growth strategies, deliver excellent service, and meet sales targets.
  4. Leverage IDeaS strategies and resources to create opportunities for products and solutions.
  5. Provide proactive service and engage resources to meet client expectations.
  6. Use tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Premium to track activities, contacts, and opportunities.
  7. Report monthly on strategies, tactics, and successes to sales leadership.
  8. Represent IDeaS professionally in the marketplace.
  9. Act as an ambassador for accounts, communicating client needs to leadership.
  10. Engage clients as references and participate in case studies.
  11. Manage expectations to align products/services with client needs.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitors.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to us…

  1. 5+ years of experience in Hospitality Technology, Hotel Technology, revenue management, or related fields, with a focus on consultative sales and enterprise analytics software.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse cultures and levels.
  3. Understanding of hospitality industry and hotel infrastructure, including interfaces with IDeaS.
  4. Confidence in communicating with executive management (C-Level).
  5. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ability to build relationships with clients at various levels, especially senior management.
  7. Excellent listening skills to align products/services with client goals.
  8. Strong presentation and negotiation skills to demonstrate value and secure contracts.
  9. Ability to lead effective meetings and capture outcomes clearly.
