Our client based in the South East offers digital, litho, data management, personalized and complex mailings to their clients. Other main areas of their operation include an in-house creative design studio, training documentation, data and transactional print, mailing, and distribution. They hold ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 accreditations.
Reporting to the Head of Client Services, they are currently looking to recruit two people to bolster their client services team. As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients across various niche markets, including Clinical, Transactional Billing, Training, and Events. You will act as the liaison between customers and the shop floor, ensuring each department meets their needs on time. The team plays a key role in achieving sales targets by understanding customer needs and expanding current accounts. You will also issue instructions to the factory and record transactions on the MIS system, working in an organized manner, taking ownership, and proactively managing work in progress. Collaboration with all departments to deliver high standards of service and develop new opportunities is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising accurate estimates on the MIS system, capturing all costs, and quoting customers.
- Briefing Operation Managers to ensure project quality.
- Updating dashboards and work-in-progress spreadsheets for visibility.
- Creating job bags with clear instructions for all departments.
- Consulting with suppliers for outwork and managing relationships to facilitate purchase orders on the MIS system.
- Managing work in progress to track production stages.
- Ensuring products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and are delivered on time, including proof sign-off.
- Confirming delivery dates with clients and coordinating with dispatch and courier services for worldwide distribution.
- Managing timelines and deadlines to meet production milestones.
- Investigating issues and resolving them promptly.
- Preparing jobs for billing on a weekly basis where applicable.
- Documenting customer visits and discussions for relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborating with team members, supporting workload, and covering holidays.
- Upselling services to grow existing business.
- Supporting other departments with monthly housekeeping tasks.
- Ensuring delivery compliance with Goods-in procedures.
- Logging NCRs on the MIS system and ensuring corrective actions.
- Performing ad hoc tasks as requested by management.
