We’re seeking a dynamic Account Manager to take ownership of commercial performance across key retail accounts in an international market. This is a hands-on role, focused on translating strategic goals into in-market results. You’ll be responsible for nurturing relationships with retail partners, overseeing product rollouts, and supporting local execution of global initiatives.
You’ll play a crucial part in ensuring brand consistency, meeting commercial targets, and strengthening market presence in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Driving Sales Performance
Help shape and deliver the local sales strategy to achieve set revenue goals and performance indicators.
Track and analyse account activity to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
Compile regular updates on market conditions, campaign outcomes, and sales performance.
Managing Retail Partnerships
Develop long-term, effective partnerships with key retail customers.
Coordinate product launches, training support, and promotional plans tailored to each account.
Lead account reviews, discussing performance updates, joint business opportunities, and future plans.
Ensure customer needs are met efficiently – from managing orders and credit issues to providing updates on stock and marketing assets.
Conduct regular store visits to maintain brand visibility, gather insights, and identify ways to optimise sales.
Collaborating Across Teams
Work with marketing and education teams to adapt and deliver global toolkits and learning content at a local level.
Liaise with operations, supply chain, and customer service teams to support smooth planning and fulfilment.
Act as the voice of the customer within the wider international team to ensure strategies are market-relevant.
Experience Requirements
Prior experience in sales or account management, preferably within beauty, FMCG, or premium retail sectors.
Demonstrated success in hitting sales targets and managing high-value client relationships.
Confident working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholder priorities.
Strong analytical skills and comfortable using Excel, sales platforms, and reporting tools.
Willing and able to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
Fluent in English; additional language skills relevant to the market would be an advantage.
