Job summary

Alexander James Recruitment Ltd in Brighton is seeking an Account Manager to own multiple retained client accounts, guiding PR campaigns from planning through execution.

You will be the day-to-day contact, nurture relationships, identify media opportunities, pitch stories and coordinate interviews, features and thought leadership, while mentoring a junior team member. This hybrid role includes a £40,000 salary and clear progression within a growing agency.

Qualifications

• PR experience in communications or public relations.
• Strong media relations and pitching skills.
• Excellent writing and storytelling ability.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience mentoring junior team members is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver integrated PR campaigns across multiple accounts.
• Be the day-to-day client contact and maintain relationships.
• Identify media opportunities and align with client objectives.
• Pitch stories to journalists and secure coverage.
• Coordinate interviews, features and thought leadership opportunities.
• Mentor and support a junior team member.
