Account Manager – Instrumentation / Process Automation

Northwest, England

Role + Responsibilities

We are looking for an Account Manager with proven experience within the Process Automation engineering field to promote and sell our full range of Instrumentation, Services and Solutions. You will be an experienced sales professional with an eye for expanding business in existing clients through consultative and cross selling while demonstrating the benefits of the Endress+Hauser portfolio.

Main responsibilities for Account Manager:

  • Responsible for managing business within the account base and develop the accounts using the account plan to set goals and actions.
  • Familiarising yourself with the account base and building a clear understanding and strategy to grow business.
  • Building your Industry knowledge of Endress+Hauser products and services
  • Utilising the support within the business and ensure you have a clear understanding of the Endress+Hauser offering, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Service and Solutions processes.
  • Being consultative in your approach and ensure collaboration with colleagues to provide the best results.
  • Implementing Company Sales Strategy
  • Building a strong network of contacts and develop relationships to satisfy the needs of both the customer and the business.
  • Providing a clear vision of potential customer development
  • Liaising with customers both face to face and in virtual meetings
  • Being proactive and effective in decision making and foster an ability to be flexible and agile.
  • Promoting a positive attitude and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Qualification + Profile

  • Experience of Sales within an engineering field (Electrical / Instrumentation/Process Automation)
  • Excellent relationship building and attitude to drive sales
  • Experience within a previous external sales position
  • To be highly motivated and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • The ability to develop good working relationships with customers.
