Are you interested in contributing to the success of Materialise’s high-end image processing software and technology? Are you a client-oriented and trust-creating person? Do you love achieving the best results in a fast-changing environment? Then we want you to complete our team in the Medical unit as a 3D Software Account Manager.

In this role, you are expected to excel in your sales performance, delivering strong results via our medical portfolio. The core market for this portfolio is medical device companies, key NHS and private hospitals, and universities, enabling the use of 3D software for research, planning, and printing in-house.

What you will do
  • Develop new business for Materialise 3D Surgical Planning Software, Services, and Consultancy packages
  • Achieve sales targets for the UK and Ireland Region for hospitals, medical device companies, and academic software business markets
  • Develop strong relationships with key tier 1 accounts to help expand the product portfolio and raise awareness of 3D printing
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions. Proactively suggest improvements for team organization and communication
  • Report all activities via the in-house CRM system and manage your sales pipeline
  • Represent Materialise at trade shows and become a brand ambassador
  • Interact with Materialise internationally and contribute to company developments
Your profile
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or account management
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced sales techniques and account management
  • Strong hunting and farming skills
  • Demonstrable experience in capital or software long-term sales is desirable
  • A proven track record within technical sales is desirable
  • Able to communicate with people from different levels both internally and externally, with excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Willingness to exceed our customers’ expectations
  • Eager to work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience in the medical or healthcare industry is a plus
  • Willing to travel to customer sites within the UK and Ireland is required, together with occasional travel to Belgium
  • You possess a UK driving license
