Customers include estate directors/managers, facilities managers, chief pharmacists, procurement, and engineering departments. Location: North West, West Midlands. Package: £45k basic + £6k bonus, company car, excellent pension scheme, private health, and other benefits.

The Role of the Account Manager:

  • Selling medical gases, associated equipment, engineering services, and digital cylinders and tracking systems.
  • Selling to estate directors/managers, facilities managers, chief pharmacists, procurement, and engineering departments within NHS hospitals.
  • 50/50 split between new business and existing accounts.
  • Handling multiple departments within hospitals, with some sites processing 400-500 cylinders weekly.
  • Coverage includes Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire, Flintshire, Merseyside, West Midlands, and North Wales.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience selling into the NHS.
  • Familiar with long lead times and project-based sales, ideally capital equipment.
  • Sales, marketing, or commercial qualifications or experience.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across departments to meet targets.
  • Knowledge of healthcare market and products is a plus.
  • Works with integrity and promotes inclusivity in the workplace.
