We are looking for an Account Manager (Maternity Cover) to join the focusgov team and help us create great digital services that will positively impact vulnerable peoples' lives. This is a fixed-term contract providing maternity cover until August 2026.
We are a leading provider of digital solutions and transformation services within social care, working with over forty local authorities. Our projects include the Care Leavers App and initiatives for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The role involves building relationships with public sector clients, managing work requests, liaising with technical teams, supporting project delivery, and identifying new opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include managing client communications, supporting project alignment, and tracking sales metrics.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience as an Account Manager or in a similar role within digital, marketing, or software development environments, with proven ability to manage multiple client accounts, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Docs, and project management tools.
Additional advantageous skills include experience with Hubspot CRM, digital project management, web design, or working with the public sector.
This role is home-based, UK-wide, with optional team meetings. The contract runs until August 2026, with potential extension based on performance.
