ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling subscriptions and other online advertising products. Your client base will range from small independent agents up to our largest and most sophisticated customers including global property owners and fund managers, global brokerage businesses, hedge funds, private equity firms, real estate investment trusts, and family offices.

You will focus predominantly on new business; however, you will also grow your revenue from accounts once you have won them. You will be given a territory inheriting responsibility for account management of a limited number of existing clients from day one.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage, nurture & grow your existing client base.
  2. Gain a thorough understanding of your clients and their needs through a consultative sales approach.
  3. Become an expert in LoopNet’s marketing solutions.
  4. Complete ownership of the full sales cycle including: prospecting, demonstrating, closing, onboarding, training, and renewing accounts.
  5. Conduct a high level of in-person client and prospect product demonstrations.
  6. Provide valuable insight to all participants in the commercial property market.
  7. Represent CoStar Group by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals in your market.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Demonstrate that you have maintained and grown clients over the medium and long-term.
  2. Outstanding communication, presentation, and objection handling skills.
  3. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to metrics effectively.
  4. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  5. A consultative selling style with account management techniques.
  6. A knowledge of commercial real estate or asset management is advantageous.
  7. Ability to navigate a large organisation.
  8. Full driving licence.
  9. Ability to travel to the United States for 3 weeks of training.
