Job Description:

Our client is expanding their team in Belfast, and Whytematter is recruiting an Account Manager to join them. The company has decades of insurance services experience, combining expertise with innovative, tailor-made solutions to service and support local insurance placements for UK subsidiaries of global clients, both large and small.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role with 1 day WFH. The salary is negotiable.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with placing the main classes of commercial insurance within the market.
  • Provide expert and prompt advice to clients regarding their insurance needs.
  • Liaise with insurer partners as appropriate.
  • Maintain high-quality customer service through prompt, professional servicing of client accounts, including mid-term adjustments and handling customer queries.
  • Manage files to ensure individual client cases are completed promptly, effectively, accurately, and fully.
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all costs.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of previous account handling experience within the corporate or commercial sector.
  • Experience dealing with technical insurance issues.
  • Experience working with a diverse client base on risks of various sizes and complexities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with people at all levels through various channels.
  • CII qualification or working towards exams.
