Job description

Account Manager - Hearts & Science - Opella and Hargreaves Lansdown

About the Role

We're looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Experience team to work on a mix of accounts, primarily Opella and Hargreaves Lansdown, with opportunities to work on others within the wider team.

The two clients complement each other in terms of media channels used, budgets, and team structure:

  1. Opella (previously called Sanofi) is a category leader, and we've won multiple awards for our work on their different pharmaceutical brands.
  2. Hargreaves Lansdown is a fintech company helping to democratise the world of investing. They have a new senior client team and are in the process of acquiring new owners, which means they're at an exciting inflection point and looking to us to create new and exciting work for them.

The full patch includes Tropicana, Hargreaves Lansdown, Freeview / Freely, Opella (pharmaceuticals), Co Op Bank, Not On The High Street, and Waterwipes. Having a range of brands within our team provides a real opportunity to build skills and experience across different categories without having to jump around, plus also the chance to take a leading role in managing some of the smaller accounts, so this role would really suit someone looking to build on these areas.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent day-to-day client services and communications planning. You will also be responsible for contributing to the management and development of junior team members.

About You

This role will be ideal for you if:

  1. You have previous experience working in a media agency, or experience within a client-facing role/comms planning team.
  2. You have strong communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
  3. Your organisational skills are excellent with good attention to detail.
  4. You are skilled in end-to-end media planning and have an understanding of media buying.
  5. You are positive and entrepreneurial.

What you can expect:

  1. Flexible working
  2. 27 days holiday + bank holidays
  3. Full range of benefits including Bupa, Pension, Life Assurance, Eye Care
  4. Subsidised food and drink on our 7th floor canteen
