Job description

A well-established company based in the UK offering commercial support to many companies across the country by creating company-specific sales strategies and negotiating programme volumes.

About the Account Manager job

The purpose of your role will be to act as the primary commercial contact for customers, managing both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning.

Key tasks
  1. Organise and participate in customer webinars and conferences, as well as conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships.
  2. Lead weekly forecast meetings and provide customers with comprehensive weekly farm reports.
  3. Collaborate closely with growers to ensure alignment between production and customer needs.
  4. Identify and pursue business development opportunities as well as lead and manage customer-specific projects to drive growth and innovation.
About You
  • The successful candidate shall have at least 2 years of account management experience within a food environment, ideally managing retailer accounts. Food manufacturing experience would be a great advantage but is not necessary.
  • Applicants will ideally be located in the New Forest or surrounding areas. A full UK driver’s license is required.

The Account Manager job (ref:8893) offers a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience.

The site is based in Hampshire and is commutable from Bournemouth, Southampton, Ringwood, Brockenhurst, Lymington, and surrounding areas.

The package includes a Performance Related Bonus, Pension, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
