Account Manager – Freight Forwarding - 20% Commissions of GP

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager – Freight Forwarding (AM) to join our clients expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in logistics and international trade to play a key role in managing and nurturing client relationships while supporting business growth.

About the Role:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met, and identifying opportunities for further business development. This position offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage your own schedule and travel as necessary to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell logistics solutions to existing clients
  • Provide expert advice on logistics solutions tailored to client needs
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by clients, ensuring timely resolution

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account management within the freight forwarding industry
  • Strong understanding of international logistics and supply chain operations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, client-focused, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a varied workload
