Role Responsibilities
  1. Manage existing customers and develop new customer relationships.
  2. Identify and pursue new product and market opportunities to drive business growth and increase market share.
  3. Achieve sales targets through proactive communication, including digital channels and face-to-face interactions, for a range of products.
  4. Increase gross profit and diversify the product portfolio by cross-selling, range-selling, and implementing value-based pricing strategies.
  5. Identify high-potential accounts and develop strategies to convert prospects.
  6. Follow sales protocols to generate leads, improve conversion rates, and enhance sales interactions.
  7. Utilize call planning, pipeline management, lead qualification, and proactive sales calling to monitor performance and meet targets.
  8. Enhance customer awareness by advising on suitable products and informing about product options and opportunities.
  9. Participate in joint visits with managers and principals as needed.
  10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to deliver optimal solutions and maximize value.
  11. Provide accurate forecasts and updates, and manage pricing strategies including contracts, negotiations, and renewals.
  12. Prepare costings for materials and quotations for customers.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a related discipline (science/chemistry).
  • Over 5 years of B2B sales experience in food or raw ingredients sectors.
  • Technical knowledge in Food & Nutrition, with the ability to articulate the value of nutrition and raw ingredient products.
  • Experience in distribution, chemical, or food science industries is desirable but not essential.
