Salary: Up to £27,000 + Attractive Quarterly Bonus
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (10 Months)


Are you a people-focused account manager or internal sales professional who loves building long-term relationships and providing outstanding customer care? We're recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established global business in Team Valley, Gateshead.


This role combines account management with warm sales follow-up - no cold sales approach here! You'll engage with existing and prospective clients, identifying opportunities, nurturing accounts, and delivering exceptional service. It's perfect for someone who thrives in a relationship-led, customer-centric environment.


Our client is seeking a proactive, dynamic professional on a 10-month fixed-term basis, with the potential for extension or permanent placement depending on business needs. Ideally, you'll be immediately available or have a short notice period.

Role Overview:



  • Fixed-term contract, directly employed by the company

  • Salary: Up to £27,000 + Bonus

  • 36-hour workweek with flexible hours:
    Monday to Thursday: 8:20 AM - 4:30 PM
    Friday: 8:20 AM - 1:30 PM (early finish!)

  • Free Parking

  • Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

  • 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

  • Work from home every Friday following training

Your Responsibilities:



  • Build strong client relationships and manage warm outbound/inbound calls

  • Follow up on warm leads and identify opportunities to grow accounts

  • Recommend suitable products and services to meet client needs

  • Support Business Development Managers and collaborate with internal teams

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and handle quote and pricing requests

  • Produce regular sales reports and apply pricing strategies

  • Deliver first-line technical support (with team support)

  • Always provide an outstanding customer experience
