Overview

Established in 1980, the WasteCare Group now employs over 500 people based at 9 regional service centres and 8 recycling facilities throughout the UK. We collect and recycle over 200,000 tonnes of hazardous and difficult waste, on behalf of over 20,000 organisations annually throughout the UK. Key Duties
  • Ensuring the customer’s needs are met on time to the required standards, while striving to exceed their expectations
  • To work as part of the Sales team, providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
  • The ability to problem solve in a methodical manner whilst ensuring all parties are kept updated
  • Dealing with customer enquiries in a professional and timely fashion, both on the phone and by email
  • Process customer orders and provide accurate quotes
  • Having the ability to spot opportunities for up selling and cross selling to other areas of the business
Essential Requirements
  • You will be a self-motivated team player who is passionate about their work with a “can do” attitude
  • Must have a “hand on” approach as the working day will be varied
  • Will have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be enthusiastic and hardworking
  • Personable
Nice To Have
  • Experience within the environmental, waste or chemical industry would be an advantage but not necessarily essential to the right candidate
