Job Summary

The Account Manager – Corporate Markets is a key client-facing role on GLG’s Corporate Sales team, based in London, that plays a vital part in GLG's relationships with leading Chemicals, Diversified Industrials, Materials, Automotive, and Energy companies in EMEA. The Account Manager engages and manages client relationships, helping them fully realize the value of GLG’s platform and services. They will develop both large and mid-sized firms, collaborating with Client Solutions and Research teams to bring new project ideas to clients. At GLG, you will have opportunities for rapid progression in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engage and build relationships across all seniority levels within clients to articulate GLG’s brand and value proposition.
  • Partner with GLG’s EMEA Client Solutions team to retain and grow existing client relationships.
  • Identify growth opportunities, develop account plans, and help lead client service teams to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, legal, research, finance, and technology teams to address complex business issues.
  • Negotiate enterprise-level deals with senior stakeholders for existing and new clients.
  • Expand and penetrate existing clients and acquire new clients, promoting adoption of new products and systems.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Account Management/Sales, preferably in relevant industries.
  • Proven ability to conduct consultative enterprise sales and develop account strategies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives and professionals.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated growth in responsibility over time.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
