As our new Account Manager will be responsible for driving the success of our Cell Analysis product portfolio within the designated territory of West UK (Manchester to Oxford) and Wales. This role is pivotal in representing Agilent to our customers and ensuring our innovative solutions reach the hands of scientists and researchers who need them most.


Your main responsibilities will include:
Sales Execution:
Drive sales of Agilent’s Cell Analysis products including microplate readers, washers & dispensers, automated microscopes, flow cytometers, metabolic analyzers, and impedance-based cell analysis instruments.
Territory Management:
Manage and grow business within the assigned territory, covering the area from Manchester to Oxford, and throughout Wales.
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with end-user customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Development:
Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Product Promotion:
Promote new product introductions and educate customers on the value and application of Agilent’s technologies.
Account Development:
Maintain satisfaction and long-term relationships with key accounts. Drive customer utilization of Agilent’s online sales platforms where applicable.
Collaboration:
Work independently or as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and supporting broader sales initiatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences
• min. 4 years of sales experience in life sciences, biotech, or instrumentation (preferably cell biology related products, such as microplate instrumentation, microscopy, and flow cytometry)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
