Account Manager, Amazon Business Advisory

As a Sales Associate with Amazon Seller Services India, you will deliver Amazon’s offerings in India, engaging retailers throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities include recruiting retailers with competitive pricing and broad product selection, training sellers on Amazon systems, and analyzing seller performance metrics to support their success.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be capable of working independently, influence external parties, and be comfortable with technology systems and data analysis. You should thrive in a rapidly changing environment and be adept at handling ambiguous and challenging situations.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Understand Amazon products and services, articulating their benefits to external audiences.
  • Define target seller bases and industry verticals using local knowledge.
  • Identify valuable sellers and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Manage seller integration and provide basic training to foster independence.
  • Monitor performance and sales of key partners to manage and improve their performance.
Prior Experience and Skills:
  • More than 3 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Passion for e-commerce.
  • Experience in analytical, results-oriented environments with external customer interaction.
  • Metrics-driven with the ability to manage business by the numbers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SME retailers is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media is beneficial.
  • Understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India.
  • Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to speak local languages is desirable.
