The Role: As the successful Account Manager, you will sell in vitro fertilisation equipment, devices, software and services to private and NHS clinics and hospitals within your territory, selling to embryologists, clinic owners, consultants and nurses. You be managing and developing relationships within, all within existing accounts, with some already fantastic relationships on patch. This is a position where you will enjoy the social aspects of the role, free of the restrictions that a lot of other medical and pharmaceutical roles have. You will get to manage, build and enhance fantastic relationships with clients, sometimes needing to work outside “normal” hours.

The Company: This global manufacturer is a leading name within their highly specialist field and have a reputation for producing high quality solutions that make a genuine difference to patients’ lives. They continue to experience incredible growth in revenue, and a rare and exciting opportunity currently exists for a driven, ambitious and technically capable healthcare sales, clinician or graduate to join their field-based sales team and manage their well-established “Northern” sales territory.

The territory: Yorkshire, North East, Scotland (only 5 accounts and they can be covered over a couple of days a month), East and West Midlands. NOT the North West. So, candidate location needs to be Yorkshire or somewhere in the Midlands with the flexibility and ability to travel.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Science / healthcare related degree or qualification (essential)
  • And EITHER a medical sales professional
  • OR a medical / scientific graduate with some commercial experience
  • OR a clinician seeking a new challenge in sales
  • An outgoing and sociable personality
  • A passionate and motivated self-starter
  • An aptitude for selling technical products
  • Full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

Package for the Account Manager:

Basic salary: £30,000 to £50,000 DOE

Bonus: 25%

Car allowance: £500 per month
