Job Description:

? Location: High Holborn, London (with regular travel across London)

We’re on the lookout for a fantastic Account Manager to join our lovely Dual Management team at Abbatt, covering a 12-month maternity leave.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with Area Manager experience in retail or hospitality —especially if you're used to juggling multiple sites, leading people with energy and empathy, and delivering excellent service to both clients and internal teams.

? About the Role

As part of our Dual Management division (our outsourced staffing solution for property managers), you’ll be the go-to person for managing on-site staff across multiple residential buildings in London. This includes recruitment, onboarding, ongoing support, employee relations, and client satisfaction.

You’ll be based at our office in High Holborn but will regularly visit sites to check in with your teams and meet clients face-to-face. It’s a people-first role that blends HR, operations, account management and client services.

? What You’ll Be Doing

Staff & Site Management

  • Oversee staffing at multiple high-end residential properties
  • Regular site visits to support staff and ensure high morale
  • Lead recruitment, inductions, training, and appraisals
  • Manage employee relations (with HR support) and retention strategies
  • Conduct Health & Safety checks and ensure compliance

Client Relationship Management

  • Be the key point of contact for your client portfolio
  • Attend service review meetings and produce performance reports
  • Quickly resolve any service issues and implement improvements

Operational & Project Support

  • Implement and manage new staffing contracts
  • Managing rotas and ensuring sites are always covered, especially at peak holiday times
  • Collaborate with our internal recruitment teams to source talent
  • Support with temporary staffing needs as they arise
  • Assisting with Payroll and Invoicing

Business Development & Representation

  • Represent Abbatt Dual Management at networking and client events
  • Promote our Dual Management service to new and existing contacts

? What We’re Looking For

  • Previous multi-site people management experience – ideally from a retail Area Manager or hospitality background
  • A natural relationship-builder with a passion for service excellence
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Some understanding of HR processes, employee relations, or Health & Safety is helpful (but we’ll train you!)
  • Organised, confident, and a great communicator
  • Knowledge of scheduling or HR software would be beneficial

? What You’ll Get in Return

  • 25 days annual leave + birthdays off + bank holidays
  • Season ticket loan
  • Gym membership contributions
  • Regular social events, monthly team drinks, and company parties
  • A genuinely warm and supportive team culture

Interested?

We’d love to hear from you if you’re a people-centric leader looking to make a real impact in a rewarding, fast-paced role. This is a maternity cover role expected to last 12 months, however there may be permanent opportunities within the team or the wider company for the right person on completion. Salary is negotiable.
