Job description

As the Account Manager, you will work closely with our global sports retail client and key stakeholders to execute bespoke and complex retail campaigns across our customers’ retail environments to the highest standards. You will support the design and execution of areas including, but not limited to, windows, launch zones, in-store environments, and digital campaigns, based on client briefs. Managing suppliers and internal contacts, you will develop innovative ideas, ensuring each campaign meets specifications, deadlines, and budget constraints.

Throughout the process, the Account Manager must maintain constant communication with suppliers, clients, and internal teams, updating all stakeholders, negotiating costings and timescales, and selecting appropriate suppliers. Responsibilities include providing clear creative and production briefs, quality checks, overseeing installations, and ensuring attention to detail at every step.

This is a hybrid role with specified office days in Manchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead project management of campaigns, safeguarding timelines, budgets, and installations.
  2. Manage critical paths and work-in-progress documents.
  3. Ensure the successful delivery of special execution campaigns across the UK and EU, in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
  4. Handle financial aspects of campaign production, including quoting, POs, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  5. Manage account budgets and forecasts.
  6. Take briefs from clients, including specifications and deadlines, managing projects from start to finish.
  7. Participate in internal client meetings, advising on creative and execution strategies.
  8. Collaborate to select vendors considering location, complexity, budget, and deadlines.
  9. Provide technical input, suggest innovative and sustainable options where possible.
  10. Brief creative studios and provide input on campaign creative solutions.
  11. Identify areas for improvement and business development aligned with company strategy and client objectives.
  12. Occasionally attend overnight installations, troubleshoot, and oversee installations with attention to detail.
  13. Manage remote installations via external teams.
  14. Conduct onsite quality checks for print and props, producing QC decks for clients.
  15. Create detailed specifications for internal and external clients.
  16. Manage client budgets and calendars related to product launches.
  17. Prepare campaign debriefs and gather client feedback.
  18. Brief suppliers on client requirements and evaluate new suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  19. Perform store checks for new opportunities and ensure high customer service levels.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  1. Experience in managing and conceptualizing special campaigns, including flagship windows, launch zones, and store fits.
  2. Knowledge of window/special execution installations, VM, POS, and bespoke 3D elements.
  3. Experience in creative ideation for online and offline campaigns.
  4. Ability to brief creative studios and translate concepts into briefs.
  5. Technical print knowledge and understanding of different techniques.
  6. Experience in account management within contracted environments with strict SLAs and KPIs.
  7. Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  8. Professional demeanor, calmness under pressure.
  9. End-to-end project management experience, capable of handling multiple projects.
  10. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  11. Confidence in quality checking and troubleshooting project issues.
  12. Numerate with good commercial understanding.
  13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  14. Full driving license.
