Account Manager - Youngs (Maternity Cover until July 2026)

To assist and contribute towards the development and implementation of AUK's business strategy with Young's including the following areas:

  • Successfully build and maintain relationships with key Operations Managers, Regional Managers, General Managers, and Marketing Managers.
  • Work collaboratively with Trade Marketing and Brand Advocacy team to drive brand loyalty and increased RoS across the AUK portfolio
  • Activate with excellence bringing our brands to life to consumers and delivering success stories to drive enhanced distribution of the AUK portfolio
  • Support National Account Controller in monthly cycle of forecasting, financial reviews and QBR's.

Key Accountabilities:
The Account Manager is responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities:

  • To be a key contact for Area/General Managers/Marketing/Operations/Procurement throughout Young's
  • Regular interaction and planning with customer marketing teams
  • Direct ownership of the AUK - Young's marketing investment strategy
  • Manages projects as defined by National Account Controller i.e. Contract compliance, Glassware, Activation, budgets management
  • Sales Data key analysis and feedback to wider business
  • Organise and coordinate commercial and marketing QBR's
  • Liaise with Customer Marketing, Trade Marketing & Category to share insight on customer, consumer and competition and tailor and lead the evaluation of key sales driver led activations
  • Regular callage in outlets to build relationships and understand the market
  • Support and deliver against commercial JBP objectives on ROS & Install roll outs

Experience Required:

  • Proven Experience within a major FMCG company in an advanced commercial role
  • High standard of selling skills demonstrated
  • Demonstrates an understanding of brand plans and brand positioning through to effective execution at the point of purchase.
  • Demonstrates a track record of delivering and managing a number of key projects at the same time.
  • Sales/marketing experience within On Trade (preferably as an Account Development Manager).
  • Experience and evidence of forming and managing strong relationships at all levels
